Will a red 5Mw laser pointer do the same as a green 5Mw laser pointer, like light matches or pop a baloon???

The energy is the same, so the effects will be similar.
But I’ll say this much: you will never ever ever EVER see a five-megawatt laser pointer. To get a light that bright you need a synchotron whose dimensions would be best measured in kilometres.
